Vacancy Details APSC Recruitment 2025
A total of 43 posts have been announced across different engineering disciplines. The distribution of posts is as follows:
- Civil Engineer / Public Health Engineer – 10 posts
- Mechanical Engineer – 16 posts
- Electrical Engineer – 11 posts
- Environmental Engineer – 06 posts
Reservation for SC, STP, STH, OBC/MOBC, PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen is applicable as per Government norms.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive an attractive pay package:
- Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000
- Grade Pay: ₹12,700
- Pay Band: 4
- Other allowances as admissible under Assam Government rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree (full-time) in the respective engineering discipline from an AICTE-recognized university/institute.
- Civil / Public Health Engineer – B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Mechanical Engineer – B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical Engineer – B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Environmental Engineer – B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering with Masters in Environmental Science/Engineering.
Candidates who have completed AMIE (India) courses on or before 31.05.2013 are also eligible.
Urban Technical Officer Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 38 years
- Age relaxation:
