DHE Assam Scholarship 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the DHE Assam Combined Merit Scholarship 2025-26, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
A) Minimum Academic Qualification:
- For Degree (U.G.) Course: Minimum 60% marks in Higher Secondary (Class 12) Final Examination.
- For Master’s (P.G.) Course: Minimum 60% marks in General Degree Course.
B) Course and Institution:
- The applicant must be a male student pursuing 1st Semester of General Degree or General Master Degree Course in Arts/Science/Commerce discipline.
- The student must be enrolled in a provincialized/Govt. College or State/Central University of Assam for the session 2024-25.
C) Domicile:
- The student must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Assam.
D) Bank Account:
- Applicants must have a valid and active bank account in their name (preferably in SBI) with complete details such as Bank Name, Account Number, Branch Name, and IFSC Code.
E) Selection Process:
- Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit and limited to the budget allocation.
- Important Note:
- Applications that are incomplete, contain incorrect information, or have inactive bank accounts will be rejected.
Quantum of Financial Assistance
Eligible candidates will receive the following monthly financial assistance under the scheme:
- Undergraduate (U.G.) Course: ₹450 per month
- Postgraduate (P.G.) Course: ₹500 per month
The scholarship amount will be disbursed through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
