A. Professor/Associate Professor in Education – 01 Post
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate degree in Sciences/Mathematics/Social Sciences/Commerce/Languages.
- M.Ed. degree.
- Ph.D. in Education.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in teacher education institutions for Professor and 8 years for Associate Professor.
B. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies – 03 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
- M.Ed. with UGC norms.
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. in Education.
- Desirable: Master’s degree in Psychology/Philosophy/Sociology or allied subjects.
C. Assistant Professors in Various Subjects – 08 Posts
- Mathematics – 01
- Physics – 01
- Chemistry – 01
- History – 01
- Economics – 01
- English – 01
- Assamese – 01
- Communicative Skills in English – 01
- Communicative Skills in Assamese – 01
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with UGC norms.
- B.Ed. with minimum 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/Ph.D.
D. Physical Education – 01 Post
- Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
E. Art Education – 01 Post
- Postgraduate degree in Performing or Visual Arts with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
